Resources

NAC is a NIBIB Biomedical Technology Resource Center focusing on neuroimaging analysis concepts, algorithms, and software tools. The primary result of our technology research are algorithms, published in peer-reviewed journals and conferences and sometimes complemented by download data. We also make embodiments of this technological research available in tool kits (such as ITK and VTK) and in tools intended for physician scientists. The primary venue for this capability is a software platform called 3D Slicer, a freely available, open source platform for interactive medical image analysis. Finally, as our decades-long effort in the creation and organization of digital atlases is a suite of such atlases. During the current funding cycle we have developed a web based viewer for these atlases.
