Open Anatomy Browser Paper Published in Frontiers in Neuroinformatic

A paper describing NAC’s Open Anatomy Browser (OABrowser for short) has just been published in Frontiers in Neuroinformatics. OABrowser is a web-based anatomy atlas viewer accessible through ordinary web browsers using WebGL. OABrowser is developed by the Atlas Infrastructure Core of NAC as a tool to explore new standards for atlas interoperability, novel techniques for collaboration, and improved methods for displaying complex anatomical models.
A provisional copy of the paper can be found here:

Additionally, the NAC atlas team has made available four anatomy atlases using OABrowser. These atlases include the SPL/NAC brain atlas as well as a knee, abdomen, and a head and neck atlas. Beta versions of these atlases are available at the atlas core’s new web site, https://www.openantomy.org.
